Crystal clear beach😍

Harihareshwar is a tourist destination located on the Kokan coast in Maharashtra and is renowned for its tranquility and picturesque. This is also known as DAKSHIN KASHI by virtue of its importance in the spiritual era of India, especially with an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Harihareshwar, as the name suggests is the abode of Lord Shiva.

Harihareshwar is surrounded by three hills named Harihareshwar, Harshinachal, and Pushpadri. Towards the town's north is an ancient temple of Kalbhairav and Lord Shiva. Temple is located near the Harihareshwar beach which makes this temple's backdrop extremely scenic, at the southern end of the triple Raigad beaches of Diveagar, Shreevardhan, and Harihareshwar.

Pradakshina Marg...

There is a beautiful Parikrama or Pradakshina route all around the temple. At a place, the path passes through the small road between the hills. And then it opens out to the rocky part of the seashore. Care must be taken as the rocky beach is full of raging seawater at high tide.

Eating Around.....

Being a beach town, seafood is readily available, and also in dessert not to forget about Modak (ukdiche modak..yumm😋). There are many restaurants that serve authentic local coastal food. Punjabi cuisine is also available.

Festivals...

The Kalbhairav Jayanti Utsav(Festival on the Birthday of Deity Kalbhairav) is celebrated here in November or December.

Best time to visit...

The best time to visit this place is between the months of October and March. Or you can visit during festival time.
