The Big day to VISAPUR finally arrived! I wake up early and start my scooty(Navi). Is essential that you are going to visit some places then you have to leave your home as early as possible then you got enough time to spend. while trekking the fort, I told myself “your wish has come true baby! Now it's just you", I witnessed greenery that soothed my eyes and excited me even more. 



This VISAPUR trek is always special for me because I planned this trek just after one week of my engagement obviously not with him😅 with my sister. Sooo... let's explore Visapur from my point of view...

ABOUT VISAPUR FORT TREK...



Visapur fort has a more massive elevation than his twin fort Lohagad. Visapur fort's height is about 3567 feet. Distance from Pune to visapur fort base is 65 km approx and driving time is 90 mins. Wheres distance from Mumbai to visapur fort base is 105 approx and the driving time is 3Hrs (I checked this with google Maps, if u have any douth regarding the route then just go and check on google map).

The fort has caves, cisterns of water, a decorated arch, and some houses. Two roofless buildings surrounded by an outer wall said to have once been government offices. In addition to a beautiful carving of lord Hanuman, there are also several temples dedicated to various Hindu gods.

Trek difficulty is Medium to reach the fort and its one-day trek. Water availability portable water is not available in the fort. You need to carry water from the villages. For eating, then there is plenty of small shops that served the best yummy Kanda Bhaji, roasted corn, and my fav Vada-Pav also you can taste maggie ymmm😋

Best time to Visit...

There is no such best time to visit a fort because in each and every season it looked lovely and gave always has different and amazing goosebumps. I a big fan of trekking and the monsoon trek is my favorite so if you want a little bit of adventure then visit visapur during the monsoon. 
If you are looking to visit the visapur fort then visit from October until the end of February.



Point to be noted...

1. Take a waterproof backpack and sport a trendy raincoat.
2. Make sure your shoes are weather-proof so that they do not slip on muddy terrains.
3. Stay hydrated.
4. Always keep a small first-aid box with you.
5. Take care of your trash properly.
